GUEST WEEKS

Clement, Wendy & Steve

A Breakaway in Epidavros, Greece is about a lot more than simply cycling, hiking or sunbathing, as Wendy, Clement and Steve found out this week.

Don’t come here if you want to ride as you do at home, check your mobile at every break, have me check everything for you and have dinner in the hotel! Nope.

Come here if you want to be completely immersed in what you are doing, within a community that lives a different way of life. Join us if you want a complete break from your day-to-day life.

That’s who we want to come here, because we can help you experience and realise that.

Our aim is for guests to leave feeling physically motivated from achieving more than they have for a long while, whilst also feeling mentally refreshed from a week immersed in real Greek community life.

if you want to ride or hike uphill, I can show you the way, but you are going to have to work hard – it’s hilly around here. Likewise, with life, I can show you a way, but you have to do the work, life is a journey.

We can do this because I know what it takes to physically achieve more - we can all achieve more – and because Epidavros is the friendliest village in the world – it can make anyone feel positive about their time ahead. (But be careful anyone who drinks the water is destined to return).

There is 3,500 years of life around these hills and coastline, and the Greeks didn’t choose Epidavros as the site of the world’s first-ever health sanctuary for no reason. They say it was because of the quality of the water and produce, but surely it was also because of the quality of the people.

The week we knackered Wendy, Clement and Steve out on their bikes whilst Christos, Dimitris Nicolas Vasiliki's Roula jimmy, Giorgos and the rest, helped with the best olive oil, food and wine, nourished them back together again.
