DEFY THE GODS
ATHENS - ITHACA
Ride Your Own Odyssey
Every great adventure begins with a decision to set out.
With the release of Christopher Nolan's epic new film The Odyssey, Homer's timeless story will inspire a new generation. But the greatest way to experience the Odyssey isn't in a cinema - it's by travelling through the landscapes where the legend was born.
Join us on an extraordinary cycling journey from Athens to the legendary island of Ithaca, following the spirit of Odysseus through mountains, islands and coastlines that have inspired travellers for thousands of years.
Like Odysseus, you'll discover that the most rewarding journeys are never the easiest. You'll climb mountain roads, cross sparkling seas by ferry, ride through authentic Greek villages, swim in crystal-clear water and share stories over long evenings in family tavernas. Along the way you'll experience the real Greece—far beyond the tourist trail.
Because the Odyssey has never really been about monsters or gods. It's about curiosity, resilience, friendship and the unforgettable feeling of earning your journey.
This is your chance to ride your own Odyssey.
There will be two route choices per day, allowing riders to choose which one they want to take on a day-by-day basis.
80km (618km total), ave 1,200m climbing.
